One Night Only

Soul singer and member of the LeVert trip Gerald Levert died at the tragically young age of 40 in 2006. A Grammy and BET Award winner, Levert was one of R&B's smoothest vocalists, and scored dozens of hits on the Billboard chart, including a duet with his famous father Eddie on the now iconic Baby Hold On To Me.

That track lends its name to this new musical, which tracks Gerald's career through its highs and lows, and the various battles he fought on the way to songwriter and producer stardom. It's all soundtracked by a collection of best known tracks, with father Eddie Levert also making a special appearance. This tribute to a true legend of the genre plays Beacon Theatre for one night only this May.
