Bronx Bombers is a play by Eric Simonson, who is the playwright and director, about the New York Yankees baseball team and some of its most iconic players, including Joe DiMaggio, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra.
The play focuses on star player Berra (Peter Scolari) and his wife Carmen (Tracy Shayne), taking place over a decade and portraying some of the famous team's most pivotal moments and behind-the-scenes tensions on-stage.
Bronx Bombers first ran Off-Broadway in 2013 before heading to Broadway with its original cast in-tact, apart from Scolari and Shayne who join the production.
