Dreaming of striking it rich in Pioneer-era California, crusty miner Ben Rumson moves out West with his daughter Jennifer who strikes it lucky. Cue hoards of prospectors heading out to the new town to try their own luck, including the handsome young Julio, who quickly grabs a hold of Jennifer's heart...

Premiering in 1951, Paint Your Wagon is a lusty and whooping tale, unfairly overlooked because of the subsequent clumsy move adaptation, and is well overdue a revival from the glorious folks at Encores!
