The New York City Centre's theatre hosts a celebratory performance of Rugantino, held in honor of the Italian musical's debut on Broadway 50 years ago! Rugantino is one of the most successful musical's in Italy, and this anniversary production sees Enrico Brignano - one of Italy's top comedians - play the title role.

The story is set in 19th century Rome, where the mischievous but loveable Rugantino gets by on the strength of his charms and wit. When makes a bet that he can seduce a wealthy citizen's wife, he ends up getting more than he bargained more!
