Why see Arcadia?

Get ready to study up on mysteries through time

Widely described as one of the finest contemporary English plays, Tony Award-winner Tom Stoppard's Arcadia will be taking the stage at New York City's West End Theater. Stoppard's work premiered in 1993 and swiftly became known as one of the best science-related works to have been created. Taking the directorial helm is Eric Tucker, and the cast includes Alan Altschuler and Lisa Birnbaum. A time-hopping mystery that will give your brain a heck of a workout!

What's it about?

On a Derbyshire estate in 1809, a teenager by the name of Tomasina Coverly has an enquiring mind, she seeks knowledge of all kinds and frustrates her tutor Septimus Hodge with endless questions. In the present day, literary experts Hannah Jarvis and Professor Bernard Nightingale aim to unravel the mysteries of the house.
