Written by David Adjmi, with songs by Will Butler of Arcade Fire, this heavily buzzed production takes you on a wild ride through the day-to-day of five rock musicians making an album premiered on Broadway last week at the John Golden Theatre. Following a triumphant sold-out stint at Playwrights Horizons in 2023, where it garnered critical acclaim, there has been mass anticipation for its Broadway debut from critics and theatre-goers alike.

The story itself is one of infighting, frustration, romance, and rock'n'roll (all the things you'd expect from a disagreeing 70's band). David Adjmi notes he drew inspiration from the iconic band Fleetwood Mac and came up with the idea while listening to Led Zepplin and pondering "What would it have been like to be in the studio when this was being recorded?".
