If you are coming to NY and you can only see one show, this is the show to see! I see broadway shows a couple of times a month and this is in my top 5 of all times. Everyone in the cast is a triple threat, they are uber talented. The music is great, the choreography is fantasic and tight and the acting is superb. See this show in previews before you can't get seats. I predict that this will win the Tony for best musical!

Catch Me If You Can had me at hello! This is what you hope to experience in a Broadway musical; great music, big dance numbers, fun costumes, clever story telling, an escape from the real world! Norbert Leo Butz and Aaron Tveit are to Broadway what Paul Newman and Robert Redford were to film.

Catch Me...Before I close ~ Disappointing & Boring!

It just doesn't work as a musical! As the star of the show~Aaron Tveit is a fine singer very cute indeed but he can not hold the piece together due to his weak stage presence and is totally not believable as a con man. Norbert Leo Butz drags it along as the character man adding some solidly acted and sung moments. Tom Woppat looks terribly disinterested as his Dad but sings it nicely if a bit hoarse. Both Moms portrayed are the best things in the show;sultry Rachel DeBenedet stunningly graces the stage and sings beautifully.Linda Hart's small but memorable role is sung w/ much brass n sass adding much humor. Both have the best looking costumes in a show that looks ugly, shadowy & bland...lacking the pop-fun sex appeal of the 60's.The large unsexy ensemble brightly smiles but the women have the most unflattering styled wigs. The score is ok w/a few catchy n bouncy period tunes.Kerry Butler's \"Fly Fly Away\" is powerfully sung and is the only Showstopper!
