Lempicka the musical captures the life of a woman before her time. She embraces her sexuality while being forced to keep it a secret to the world, but refuses to deny who she is. The musical numbers are a fantastic balance of pop-type music and stirring ballads. The acting and choreography are top-notch and the set design, staging and lighting hold your attention throughout the show. Seeing the evolution of Lempicka’s art is moving and stunning. Humor is sprinkled throughout the plot, adding lightness that compliments the darker themes.

This was such a captivating musical..The excellent high energy performances by everyone, especially the leads was so impressive. If you enjoyed Hadestown, Lempicka does not disappoint.
