Good start, Spirals down hill post Intermission
The production went well at the beginning, had some semblance of the Shakespeare story. Scenery was bare bones , but ok I can deal with it. I noticed tat the men were dressed in trousers and MacBeth in a trench coat. Most of about 20 witches also wore pants. Not a kilt among them. Post intermission the production spiraled into the toilet. Birnam wood has an army Jeep parked there, and rifles with bayonets are passed out to revolutionaries in brown WWI uniforms. Lady Macbeth (Anna Pirozzi) sang wonderfully. The rest of the cast was Lack-luster. Save your cost of a Opera ticket and go see the new JOKER film
