Brilliant!
A mind blowing experience! Professor Brian Cox was stimulating and had the genius and talent to explain, (to even the rank amateurs such as myself), so many extraordinary discoveries in a forthright somewhat understandable way. Bravo! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
5 stars for "Special" Brian; 0 stars for comedian
Brian's explanations are just GREAT...This is a serious explanation of SCIENCE; a comedian makes it seem like just another "entertainment show" and so cheapens it. LEAVE HIM OUT, is my opinion. Just give the audience an intermission, instead, to chat it up, or have a softdrink etc. Could use less "noise/music" and effects, and more Brian just talking. That's enough really.
Remarkable
Love BC. So clever, so inspiring and has turned a generation of science phobes into science lovers, me included age 50. Thank you Brian
Fantastic Show!
Such an amazing show! Professor Cox has a magical gift how he explains all this complex stuff in such an interesting and understandable way. He transforms science from confusing to cool! Entrancing and captivating from hello to goodnight. Brilliant presentation gifting us with wonder, awe, and leaving us with a sense of profound purpose and importance in our place of pride and responsibility regarding the care of our very special planet, Earth. Thank you Professor Cox for including our humble city in your tour. Such a gift. :) You are a superstar !
Edmonton provided the largest turnout for Prof. Cox's North American Tour!
Excellent show!! I've been taking my kids to Jasper Dark Skies for a few years now, and when I heard that a famous science educator was coming right to our doorstep in Edmonton, I didn't want to miss the opportunity. If you've never heard of Brian Cox, he is the U.K. version of America's Neil deGrasse Tyson. Anyone who has seen Prof. Cox will appreciate his enthusiasm for science (not just his own fields of physics and astronomy but a variety of topics) and ability to translate the hard stuff into digestible and entertaining fodder for us regular folks (non-STEM PHD trilobites like me). On YouTube, search for his WONDERS BBC TV show or various interviews (check out Joe Rogan Podcasts # 610 or 1233). He brings his friend and Comedian along to lighten the mood every so often. I've read alternating complaints that his shows were too dry or the comedy took away from the "flow" of the science, so I think bringing his buddy along was a good "middle of the road" approach for the masses
Enlightening
I felt as though he did a beautiful job explaining some really complex ideas into an easy to approach talk. I enjoyed his message on unity and connectedness. I really appreciate him spreading this message everywhere he goes.
