A NEW BROADWAY CLASSIC
Jason Robert Brown has created a musical that's as close to perfection as Broadway gets. The magnificent Kelli O'Hara and dreamy Steven Pasquale light up this stage with their exquisite voices and electric personas. What an absolute thrill....to hear those words and that music performed so beautifully. The audience leapt to their feet at the end of the performance -- I imagine that happens every day. THANK YOU FOR A MAGICAL MOMENT IN THE THEATER. I can't wait to see it again.
Magnificent!
A brilliant score brought to life by the magnificent voices of Kelly O'Hara and Steven Pasquale. Their chemistry is palpable. An emotionally charged evening that touches everyone in the audience. Steven's soaring voice conveys such intense emotion. He should be on a Broadway more often. Jason Robert Brown's music and lyrics are the best I've heard in a very long time. I hope that everyone who sees this show tells their family and friends that this is a MUST SEE.
My Heart Soared
I have never been so moved being in the audience of a Broadway musical, as I was with "The Bridges of Madison County". When Steven Pasquale and Kelly O'Hara sing "One Second & a Million Miles", Pasquale's "It All Fades Away" and the finale duet "Always Better", my heart wanted to burst. The audience responded with a thundering applause. Jason Robert Brown's score touched places of wonder, love, and hope in me - that living in New York City on a daily basis - are too often buried. O'Hara and Pasquale are absolute perfection, the entire cast was a delight, and the experience was one I will never forget.
Magical Broadway moment
I've been lucky to see a lot of Broadway shows over the years. This is, by far, my favorite show I've ever seen. The music is mesmerizing. The acting and chemistry of Steven and Kelli is difficult to describe....you feel as though you are a part of their world Run, don't walk, to see this one. You will fall in love with a show that Broadway has been waiting for...for years. Broadway at it's Best. Bravo.
