Eagles
I first saw Eagles in Jersey city in probably 1977ish. Boz Scaggs was the starter! Loved both since! Have seen Eagles 6 or 7 times. Never bad!!
Eagles Sept 20 UBS arena Long Island
I’ve always loved the Eagles since I was in college in the 70s. Their performance was incredible and their vocals, instrumentation and performance with simply beyond belief. I’ve never seen a band continue to perform on such a professional level as the eagles have so many years into their career. Every song was performed to perfection and if you closed your eyes every note was as if it were on the albums. Their concerts should not be missed especially if this is their final tour.
Outstanding
What can you expect from a group of 75 year old musicians? A sold out crowd of geriatrics standing for the whole show. Perhaps the best performance I've seen from them - ever. Let's hope the Long Goodbye winds its way back to the Garden before they are done.
Spectacular
From the opening with the “spirit “ of Glenn Frey placing the record album of Hotel California on a stereo record player to intermission with the Eagles playing the entire album and closing the first half with The Last Resort was more than you could ask for. The orchestra and choir backing them up was a really perfect touch. They came back in the second half and played every song you wanted to hear. They were all in good voice and this was the first time I was able to see them with Vince Gill & Decon Frey. Both are great additions to the band. Don Henley seemed a bit nervous when he stepped up to the mic to speak to the crowd, but sang all of his songs perfectly. His voice never faulted once after the long sabbatical taken during the lockdown. They played for three hours and it went by much to fast. They really enjoyed being back on stage and it showed. If you get a chance don’t miss this special show
Hotel California 2020
Great show! They sang everything they’v e recorded and they sound as good as they did in 1973! Glenn Frey is surely smiling down on son Deacon. He’s extremely talented and performs just like his dad. Vince Gill was a guest performer and he did not disappoint. For the fist time, Eagles were backed up by a full orchestra—awesome! I highly recommend the 2020 Hotel California tour.
The Eagles still soar...
The concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday was truly a walk down memory lane, forty years of lasting music, amazing harmonies and a fantastic almost three hour show. The addition of Vince Gill and Deacon Frye seems seamless, like they’ve always been there, but Glenn Frye was sorely missed. Steuart Smith and Joe Walsh made guitar magic throughout and Joe adds a touch of goofiness to lighten things up in Glenn’s absence. Great seats and I loved the addition of the strings, the horns and the choir! Their tickets are ridiculously expensive but I’d say worth this concert.
