The set is astounding and contributes to the feeling of remove from the actors. The vocals between sets are haunting. But the endless sweating- fucking is neither clever nor cutting edge- it just sounds impoverished and crude. I did not warm to the characters and so the sad tale of a woman’s fight with infertility left me feeling sad for her but not engaged. The acting is powerful especially by Billie Piper. I preferred Thre Tall Women. Not kid friendly or old people who dislike crudity or for people who expect more of theatre than sad banal conversation.
