SIX

Why see SIX?

Six Of A Kind

After taking London and the whole of the UK by storm Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss' sensational pop musical SIX hit the Broadway stage. Re-writing Tudor history and the terrible fates of the notorious King Henry VIII's six wives. SIX received rave reviews across Great Britain before debuting on Broadway in 2020. It was nominated for ten Drama Desk and recipient of two 2022 Tony Awards!

Written by freshly graduated Moss and Marlow SIX first debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017. Now SIX is enjoying its first Broadway run.

Featuring a whole host of original royal hits ("Ex-Wives", "Haus of Holbein" and "Don't Lose Ur Head") SIX is ripping the history books as it brings a fun, sassy and feminist take on one of the most famous parts of history - all tied up in a 75-minute epic concert performance!

What Is The Story Of Six?

Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, Katherine Parr. You know the names, and you may know how each of their marriages to a certain king came to an end, but these six women are far from just a historical footnote. In SIX, the floor is theirs as they tell you what really went down in the court of Henry VIII.

Uplifting Sisterly Sassiness

The Spice Girls might have reunited but they've got a run for their money in the unexpected form of Henry VIII's wives. But unlike their static portraits (and positions in history), these girls can sing and dance and put on a dazzling performance.

All Six are real queens

This show is so bright and shiney, the vocals are incredible and the queens are just divine. The standout for me was Brittney Mack as Anne of Cleves, she was perfection and has a lot of great material to work with. It's short and sweet at 80 minutes and no intermission but you get a lot packed in and there is a lot of fun to be had. These are strong, gorgeous women with passion and energy you can't contain. Get ready for a little dance party in the finale. Thought there would be more merch with more sparkle and glitz but I'm sure there is a lot on line if you want to look. Loved the music, loved the show and loved the queens. ... Read more

Six definitely deserves 6 Stars

Loved it! Never a dull moment. From fast musical numbers to slow emotional numbers that made me tear up. Wished it was longer! At the end had everyone standing up and dancing like a queen with the Six Queens! ... Read more
