Why see London Philharmonic Orchestra?
Don't miss!
Founded in 1932, the London Philharmonic Orchestra is considered one of the world's very finest. Usually resident at the iconic Royal Festival Hall on London's Southbank and Glyndebourne, they are taking their powerful ensemble on a short US Tour, bringing their towering and sweeping sound to America.
If you've seen The Lord of The Rings trilogy, you'll have heard the LPO on the rousing score. In addition to working within film and television, they also have gained a reputation of innovation, creating passionate collaboration with contemporary musicians such as The Who and Led Zepplin and lending their sound to video games, alongside playing classical.
Under the direction of current conductor Vladmir Jurowski and featuring the acclaimed pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed!
