A madcap love story
Taken from the classic theatrical story, Harlequinade is the screwball tale of the high-spirited Harlequin and the object of his affections, Columbine, daughter of Pantaloon. Hoping to marry her off a to wealthy suitor, Pantaloon makes his disapproval of Harlequin known, leading the young couple to cook up a scheme to be together. Full of romance, mischief, zany characters and humor, this wonderful ballet is a real treat for seasoned ballet lovers and inquisitive first-timers.
