Gardens, sacrifice and love!

The Gardens of Anuncia is coming to New York! The play will be making its debut at the Lincoln Center Theater this fall. The musical is co-choreographed and directed by Tony Award-winning Broadway legend, Graciela Daniele and features music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. The Gardens of Anuncia marks itself as the fifth collaboration between Daniele and LaChiusa.

What's it about?

The musical is inspired by the early life of Graciela Daniele, and dedicates itself to the women who sacrificed their dreams so she could become the artist she knew she was fated to be. The main character of the show, Anuncia, looks back on her life while she works in her garden in Argentina, celebrating her past and the women who helped shape her.
