Helmed by Rock of Ages director Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Tony nominee Kelly Devine, Clueless the Musical is set to boast a score bursting with hit songs from the 90s. Loosely based on Emma, Jane Austen's novel about youth, pride and misconstrued romance, its story follows heroine Cher, a spoilt rich kid at the top of her high school's pyramid of cool. When her matchmaking of two teachers proves to be successful, she turns her attentions towards clumsy new student Tai, giving her a makeover that becomes an unlikely catalyst for an identity crisis and self-reflection.
