This was an unexpected adventure. Incredible band led by Ian through a menagerie of reshuffled and often obscure tunes. There was arrogance and strained voice but it was fascinating to hear the familiar tunes reinvented even when they were barely recognized. So, if your idea of a classic rock concert is to hear them regurgitated so you can exalt in their magnificence (a valid expectation) this concert will surely disappoint. But if you have a bit of a prog rock itch and want to hear one of the great talents of the 70s challenge you, you are in for a treat. Stamina on flute was incredible. Phenomenal Performance - I wish I could this performance by Jethro Tull 10 STARS !!!
I feel so blessed I got to attend the Jethro Tull performance! The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is a state of the arts venue. Ian Anderson put on a phenomenal show! Some of the songs were new to me and those songs were fun to listen to! The band played great and Ian Anderson is quite a ashowman with beautiful flute playing.
