Tchaikovsky's masterful Sleeping Beauty stands to this day as a ballet masterpiece, inspiring the famed Disney movie and continually capturing the hearts of generations, well over 130 years since its debut. New Jersey Ballet bring a new production to the stage, re-staged by Maria Kowroski and based on the original ballet choreographer Marius Petipa's classic 1890 work!

Petipa and Tchaikovsky's ballet was based on Charles Perrault's adaptation of the ancient folk tale, published in 1697. The ballet beautifully captures the magical and romantic essence of the fairy tale, standing to this day as a cherished gem in the classical ballet repertoire and one best experienced in full and in person.
