Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me

Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me at Bernard B Jacobs Theater

Why see Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me?

In the grand tradition of West Side Story and My Fair Lady comes the next great American musical...

If you liked Show Boat and The Miracle Worker, then you'll love Fame Becomes Me, Martin Short's incredibly important new Broadway extravaganza. Backed by a brilliant cast of top Broadway performers and musicians (who constantly steal focus from Mr. Short when he's not looking), and co-created by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (who got tired of counting their money from writing Hairspray), Mr. Short fills the stage with all the unforgettable characters you know and love, plus himself.

In Fame Becomes Me Martin Short brings over 20 years of comic genius to the Broadway stage - and leaves it there.

Don't miss this show !!!!

Saw this show on Sunday afternoon. It was hysterical !! Felt like we never stopped laughing the whole time. Other times we were crying as we were laughing so hard the tears came down our cheeks. Martin Short is so talented and his supporting cast is just as good as he is. Lyrics, dancing and songs were soooo funny and at times touching. Can't wait for the cast recording to come out. Added to our enjoyment was the fact that Nathan Lane was the celebrity guest. He was crying on stage as he was laughing so hard during the Jiminiy Glick segment he was involved in. Go and get tickets as they are going to be gone once it opens. You won't regret it. ... Read more
