Family-friendly musicals on Broadway generally come in just one flavor: flashy. Enter "Tuck Everlasting," a warm-spirited and piercingly touching musical that has nothing flashy or splashy about it.

Brand new musical Tuck Everlasting arrives on Broadway! Based on the beloved 1975 children's book by Natalie Babbitt, the story revolves around a young girl named Winnie who discovers a magical secret about neighbouring family the Tucks. It's a story of self-discovery and figuring out what's really important in life.
Tuck Everlasting is written by Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, whose last show The Burnt Part Boys premiered Off-Broadway in 2010 to positive notices from the critics, including Ben Brantley of The New York Times who called it "warm-spirited and family-friendly". Sitting in the director's chair is Casey Nicholaw, the Tony-winning choreographer and co-director of The Book of Mormon and more kid-friendly fare such as Elf the Musical and Aladdin.
Ten year old Winnie Foster has a seemingly perfect life. Her family is wealthy and refined, and anything she desires is granted her. But Winnie feels stifled by this existence and longs for some adventure. One day she ventures outside into the woods that surround her home and comes across a young boy drinking from a spring. His name is Jesse, and it turns out that his family harbor a remarkable secret. They are immortal, having discovered by accident that the water of the woodland spring grants eternal life.
Winnie becomes a friend of the Tuck family, but there is trouble ahead. A mysterious man in a yellow suit has discovered their secret as well, and wants to become rich from the magical spring water.
