Why see Tape B?
Distortion Theory
Some say he's a tribute to the golden years of SoundCloud, and they're right. Inspired by icons like Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper, and many more, Tape B (real name Kemal Berk Alkanat) became obsessed with the one thing that tied him to his music-sharing hip-hop sessions with friends - the cassette tape. And while he's all for retro vibes, he's even more about elevating his genre. From his Driptapes series to original tracks and collaborations with Juicy J and Mersiv, Tape B is creating a new era of dubstep that you get to experience live. The future of dubstep has never sounded better!
Catch Tape on stage as he returns mixtape madness to the mainstream (think Wiz Khalifa's On My Level') with his new EP Distortion Theory. He's spent the last year selling out venues, evolving his mixing skills and blending old-school hip-hop and dubstep to create songs that top the charts but sound like nothing else.
