National Symphony Orchestra at Isaac Stern Auditorium

Why see National Symphony Orchestra?

nso in new york

The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) will be heading to New York on February 12, 2024. Based in Washington, D.C., NSO was founded back in 1930 by cellist Hans Kindler. The main venue for the orchestra is the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, but this time they'll be playing at the Isaac Stern Auditorium.

Acclaimed for their 'exhilarating' performances by The New York Times, you can expect performances by violinist James Ehnes as well as the National Symphony Orchestra, directed and conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. The program consists of BERG Selections from the Lyric Suite, KORNGOLD Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 and BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 3, "Eroica."
