Carnegie Halls Resident Orchestra, New England Symphonic Ensemble Prepare To Perform Over Two Nights

Playing at Carnegie Hall, MidAmerica Productions resident orchestra, the New England Symphonic Ensemble will play two nights at the iconic venue this summer. The orchestra has been playing at the venue for years as well as continuing to tour internationally and train young musicians.

The orchestra was founded by the late Dr. Virginia Gene Rittenhouse in 1964, who began making music at age three and was well known as a talented and influential Adventist musician, performer, mentor and conductor.

Artistically directed by Canadian violinist and the Concours de Musique Du Canada laureate Dr. Preston Hawes, the orchestra is not only dedicated to putting on show stopping performances but to providing experiences both for professional musicians and beginners. To date, the ensemble have performed in Canada, Thailand, Austria, China, Russia, Australia, Iceland, Mexico and more.
