The Orchestra Returns
World renowned Orchestra of St. Luke's returns, comprised of three different dates and three diverse programmes. Heralded as one of America's most versatile ensembles, the orchestra regularly plays concerts throughout the world, has collaborated with composers like John Adams and Andre Previn and has appeared on four Grammy-Award winning classical recordings.
Founded in 1974, with an ensemble of up to 22 musicians and is named for the Church of St. Luke in the Fields in Greenwich, Manhattan, where the ensemble first performed. In 1979, the larger Orchestra of St. Lukes was founded.
