Daphne

Daphne at Claire Tow Theater

Why see Daphne?

World premiere!

Created by Brooklyn playwright Renae Simone Jarrett, who confesses to "over-analyzing reality television with anyone who will listen," her new play Daphne makes its world premiere at the Claire Tow Theatre this fall. Her previous plays include Edible Cactus and Things Kids Do. Directed by Sarah Hughes and starring Jasmine Batchelor in the titular role, get your tickets now and be one of the first to see this exciting new work

What's it about?

Normally people move from the middle of nowhere to the city, however, for Daphne and her girlfriend Winona, it's the other way around. They move to a house in the middle of the woods, but not everything is as it seems. Daphne's days take a surreal turn, and her grasp on reality is called into question as her life gets even stranger.
