The Cripple of Inishmaan

Why see The Cripple of Inishmaan?

A Tony-Nominated Revival

Tony winner Michael Grandage's production of The Cripple of Inishmaan heads to Broadway after a sold-out run in the West End in London last Summer. Featuring the same sensational cast, including Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role, this critically acclaimed play's limited run is not to be missed!

This Broadway production has been nominated for an exciting six 2014 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play and Best Direction of a Play for Michael Grandage.

All About The Cripple of Inishmaan

The Cripple of Inishmaan was written by Irish playwright and director Martin McDonagh, and is described as a "comic masterpiece" by one of Ireland's most important living playwrights.

The play is set on the remote West coast of Ireland, on a small island called Inishmaan, where the locals are sent into a flurry upon hearing news that a Hollywood film is set to filmed on the nearby island of Inishmore. Radcliffe stars as young Cripple Billy who is desperate to be in the film - much to everyone's amusement - as it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity and a welcome escape from the hardship of his everyday life.

Mother's Day

Very funny play with all of the actors doing a really great job. Not a show for kids. My son is 17 and did enjoy it. Dan was very good in this show. Wish I stuck around outside to get his autograph. That would have been a brilliant birthday gift to myself. His intensity was impressive. The laughs were a bit of English, Irish humor. ... Read more
