New York City Ballet - Eclectic NYCB

Why see New York City Ballet - Eclectic NYCB?

eCLECTIC pROGRAM

New York City Ballet brings together a striking range of choreographic voices, each offering a distinct perspective on the artform. Featured on the program are George Balanchine's Divertimento from Le Baiser de la Fe', transforming Stravinsky's lush score into an intricate ballet, and Kyle Abraham's When We Fell, originally conceived as a digital work during the pandemic and with music by Nico Muhly, Morton Feldman and Jason Moran.

Lynne Taylor-Corbett's Chiaroscuro brings rich dramatic contrast exploring shadow and light set to the music of Francesco Geminiani, then program culminates in Alexei Ratmansky's Odesa, where tension and romance play out to Leonid Desyatnikov's score. A thrilling evening of ballet with NYCB!
