Why see New York City Ballet: Here and Now No. 3 - Peck?
for the first time!
For their third presentation of the Here/Now festival, New York City Ballet pay tribute to their Resident choreographer, one of the company's youngest ever, the inimitable Justin Peck. In this, the first full Peck program by company, expect to be dazzled by some of his best-known works, including the geometric In Creases, the bold New Blood, Sufjan Stevens scored Everywhere We Go alongside a brand new piece, his first ever for just two dancers.
At the age of 13, Justin Peck found himself so inspired by a performance of Giselle, he realised that ballet was where his future lay. Now, only 15 years later, he is on the verge of premiering his 14th work for the New York City Ballet, has created ballets all over the world, displayed his commitment to the art form in the documentary Ballet 422, and is listed as one of modern dance's most eminent personalities.
Don't miss this what is sure to become a historical evening for the choreographer and the NYCB!
