"An explosive pairing of actors... Ms. Parker is giving her best stage performance since her Tony-winning turn as the hallucination-prone math genius in 'Proof', 16 years ago."

Manhattan Theatre Club's Heisenberg moves to the main stem after its acclaimed Off-Broadway run last year. It's the second Broadway production of a work by British playwright Simon Stephens, the man responsible for the stunning, five-time Tony winning adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Heisenberg tells the story of a bizarre, out-of-the-blue act that has life-changing repercussions for the two people involved.
Reprising their roles in this intelligent two-hander are Emmy and Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, Proof) and Dennis Arndt (Basic Instinct, Grey's Anatomy), while Mark Brokaw once again directs.
It's just another day on a crowded London train platform but something out of the ordinary is about to happen. A woman named Clare approaches a much older man named Alex, whom she's never met before, and kisses him. This surprising moment sets in motion a series of events which will change both Clare and Alex forever.
