 An autobiographical work by Jonathan Larson, creator of the ground-breaking and Pulitzer-winning Rent, this musical centers on aspiring songwriter Jon, whose thirtieth birthday celebrations bring his lack of success into relief, and causes him to question his artistic calling. 

A show that will speak to anyone who has strived to create something of their own, Tick...Tick...Boom! is a deeply personal journey, packed full of Larson's signature style of rock-influenced songs that explode with intensity.

First staged as a solo monologue by writer and composer Jonathan Larson in the early nineties, Tick...Tick...Boom! was given a second life by David Auburn after Larson's death, and debuted Off-Broadway in 2001. It was revived again in 2016 and was made into a movie with Andrew Garfield in 2021.
