You've been serenaded with their son rhythm's and beguiled by their boleros, now witness the story of Buena Vista Social Club on stage, in this brand new musical celebrating the legendary Cuban musicians! Directed by Saheem Ali, this sensational production tells the real-life tale of the Havana band who put Cuban music back on the map outside of the closed-off country in the 90s, going on to huge international success with their eponymous album which topped the charts in the US and around the world.
The creative team includes a host of award winning talent, including book by Drama Desk winner Marco Ramirez, Tony Award winning choreographer Justin Peck alongside Patricia Delgado, fellow Tony winner David Yazbek leading the music team and of course Tony nominee Ali directing. Expect to hear hits including Chan Chan and Candela, as well as other well known songs from the heyday of traditional Cuban music in this inspiring story.
