Billy Crystal: 700 Sundays at Imperial Theater

Why see Billy Crystal: 700 Sundays?

This Tony-winning one-man show recounts the story of Billy Crystal's New York City youth through his teenage years and into adulthood. Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys) directs the production, which was developed at the San Diego's La Jolla Playhouse and went on to play successful outings in a string of North American cities and in Australia.

The nine-week engagement will mark the final outing for Crystal's hit play, whose name refers to how many Sundays Crystal was able to spend with his father, who died from a heart attack when the actor was 15 years old.

Crystal said in a statement, "It is a privilege to return to Broadway to say goodbye to one of the greatest thrills of my life."
