Les Miserables
"The barricades have once again gone up on Broadway. Are they worth dropping everything and joining this time? The answer is a resounding "Oui!" Bring your flag."

Why see Les Miserables?
The revolution must end september 4, 2016!
A fugitive on the run, a promise made to a dying mother and, above all, the hope that despite our circumstances, we still have the power to change the course of our destiny.
Les Miserables is one of the few musicals that has truly lasted the test of not only time but over 20 translations and 42 countries around the world, and still retained its timeless message of the redeeming nature of love and the strength of the human spirit. This exciting new Broadway revival has been nominated for three 2014 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical and a Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical nomination for none other than Ramin Karimloo!
What Is Les Mis About?
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the 19th century France and the June Rebellion, Les Miserables follows the escaped convict Jean Valjean as he tries to build a new life for himself and his adopted daughter, Cosette. However, he is hunted for almost two decades by the unrelenting police inspector, Javert whose only dream is to see Valjean behind bars once again.
An Historic Production Returns
Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of the Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece, Les Miserables, returned to Broadway's Imperial Theatre in 2014 - the show's home on Broadway for nearly 13 years and 5244 performances (1990 to 2003).
This newly re-imagined Les Miserables is still breaking box-office records and receiving rave reviews across North America, grossing more than $145 million. This new revival enjoyed a pre-Broadway run in Toronto, opening late 2013 to much critical acclaim.
