Significant Other
Mr. Harmon, the author of the scabrous 'Bad Jews,' has fulfilled the promise of that play - and then some - with this tenderly unromantic romantic comedy about a gay man aching for love in the 20-something years, when that ache cuts down to the bone.

Why see Significant Other?
Joshua Harmon's New Play
Playwright Joshua Harmon and Roundabout Theatre continue their fruitful relationship with the staging of a touching new work that explores the pitfalls of leading a single life in the modern day city. Significant Other follows on from the success of Harmon's Bad Jews, which premiered with the New York company in 2012, and went onto become one of Off-Broadway's most celebrated productions of the following year, earning a Lucille Lortel Award. A third collaboration is currently in the works, set to premiere in 2016.
Significant Other will be helmed by seasoned Off-Broadway director by Trip Cullman (Punk Rock), and opens on June 18th for a strictly limited engagement. The cast is yet to be announced.
