Foodacts
Using the power of food to unite mankind!
Why see Foodacts?
A culinary stage adventure that explores our primal connections to food.
The cast uses novels, poetry, essays, letters, and even the Bible as evidence of how human beings relate to and obsess over food, this theater piece discovers the power of food to unite. Through an encounter with works by M. K. Fisher, Proust, Homer, Dickens, Dorothy Parker, and many others we share observations of eating over time that go beyond the mere palate.
The show stars Judith Barcroft, Robert Allan, Gwen Eyster, Peter Husovsky, Jaclyn Mitgang, Mark Ringer and Antonio Edwards Suarez.
