Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games

Why see Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games?

Finally on broadway

After a 200 date tour across 15 countries, Michael Flatley brings his newest incarnation of Lord Of The Dance to Broadway where he will finally make his debut, before retiring from performing altogether. Having entranced audiences with thrilling choreography, and typical Flatley showmanship this new run is set to continue what has been a fantastic year for the company!

Dangerous Games is a must-watch for Celtic dance fans of all ages, paving the way for a brand-new generation of 'Lords' (James Keegan, Morgan Comer and Mathew Smith) to keep Flatley's astonishing dance legacy alive.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Dangerous Games will see three 'Lords of the Dance' lead a troupe of 40 young dancers in celebrating the drama and darkness of Irish folklore, of which Flatley is a huge fan. Expect danger, stunning dance moves, and a dramatic storyline that will take you through the battle of good vs evil! With new technology including holographs and dancing robots, it's certainly a revamp for the typically traditional dance company.

Dangerous Games

I really liked the dancing, the replacement for Flatly did a great job. Girls were pretty.Thought the girls in their underwear was not for this kind of show. Our group didn't like the the Devil theme. Loved the video of Flatley at the end of the show.He was fantastic. The Paramount was beautiful. Liked the art work. Seats were small, not much leg room. The view was good. I thought it was a great place to go ,and will go again. Also the free parking was a plus. Everyone should see this beautiful theater, they did a great restoration on it. ... Read more

Flatley still AMAZING

There was some racy dancing in this show for sure! Topless male dancers and girls in what looked like bras & pantyhose. My seats were super- the Wang is a great theatre. As for the show, It began slow and abruptly became effects heavy with large computer background projections on a screen behind each Act. The projections and music often upstaged the dancers amazing performances. Still, the cast kept me riveted by their dazzling footwork. The futuristic theme felt very contrived, Without the robots I would have given the show 5 stars hands down! Of course Flatley was AMAZING. One of the most talented & charismatic dancers to grace the stage in my lifetime. His presence in the live arena will be sorely missed. ... Read more
