The Man at the Forefront of Reggaeton

Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez aka, Daddy Yankee, first burst onto the international scene with his breakthrough success Barro Fino in 2004, an album that brought Reggaeton to the mainstream's attention with the traditional music wrapped up in catchy latin pop hooks and a hip hop edge. Now the Puerto Rican singer at the forefront of the Spanish Reggae revolution is headed to NYC's Madison Square Garden for a one-night-only show featuring some very special guests.

Rodriguez's music is imbued with the sheer joy and movement associated with the musical form, a mixture of Jamiacan Dancehall and Latin American traditional music, making for high-energy shows that are not short on spectacle. Daddy Yankee will be joined by Boston born Reggaeton singer songwriter Nicky Jam, English rapping sensation Plan B, Reggaeton duo Zion Y Lennox and Latin Pop singer Farruko.
