Queen & Adam Lambert

Why see Queen & Adam Lambert?

Rhapsody tour!

American Idol star Adam Lambert teams up once again with Rock Royalty, Queen, for the 2023 Rhapsody tour this fall. Lambert has already been performing with the band since 2011, his unmistakable vocals a perfect match for hits like 'I Want to Break Free', 'One Vision' and 'Killer Queen'. Don't miss the chance to hear legendary hits live!

Adam Lambert competed in the eighth season of American Idol in 2009, and came in second place. He has always had a love for singing and being on-stage though, having performed in local theatre productions since he was a child.

In 2011 Lambert joined Queen in a performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards, wowing audiences with a medley of classic Queen hits like 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are the Champions.' He's been their singer of choice ever since. The Rhapsody tour comes off the back of the hugely successful film, Bohemian Rhapsody, which follows the life of Freddie Mercury and Queen.

There were some goofs but I LOVED it!

I've been wanting to see Queen since before Freddie died. I agree that Adam is probably the only person that could attempt to step into that role. He has a phenomenal vocal range and great stage presence. He bobbled a few words at one point and just gave a cute 'oops' type gesture. It was the perfect way to handle it. I loved that a lot of the show was kind of done like Roger, Brian, and Adam were just jamming and that there were cameras in place to accommodate. I'm usually ok when they change songs slightly but I do wish that Adam wouldn't change the cadence or the words in Bohemian Rhapsody - that's just too iconic. Anyway - loved it, loved it, loved it. This is probably my last concert - so glad it was Queen! ... Read more

Feel same as fan in Vancouver

So i’ll repeat the same review here The show was nostalgic. Lambert is a class act and humble. However, I feel the band needs to let him out of a box. I have seen him perform with Queen before and he had more latitude. Freddie was known for engaging an audience. Lambert can do this too without replacing Freddie. The crowd was ready to rock it out but the energy did not reach its full potential. We were wanting more. Let Adam loose. He is a great performer. Let him loose!!! ... Read more
