Lewis Black at Marquis Theater

Why see Lewis Black?

Watch out Broadway - Lewis Black brings the rage this fall!

Currently touring the country with his hugely successful tour The Rant Is Due, perpetually pissed comic Lewis Black is bringing a brand-new show to the Marquis Theater this fall, for a limited time only! Black To The Future sees the influential, rage-filled comedian realize of one his biggest career ambitions; a chance to perform on Broadway. Covering every conceivable subject history, politics and religion with his trademark scowl in place, Black also played (appropriately) the chaarcter of Anger in Disney-Pixar's 2015 hit movie, Inside Out.

This Grammy-winning stand-up comedian became a household name after debuting on The Daily Show. Since his appearance, he's starred in comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime and Epix. His work as an actor includes Once in a Lifetime, Camino Real, The Matchmaker and Dead End. Black also established the Bill Foeller Fellowship for emerging young directors at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Lewis Black always tell is like it is and with style.

I had the pleasure one again of seeing Lewis Black at the Balboa Theater on November 2nd. His wit, timing, and ranting is always a bright light in my mundane life. He always tells it like it is and says thing s "out loud" that we are all thinking. My favorite joke of his was for Prevagen, the drugs that improves your memory. He said, "I OD'd on Prevagen once and now I'm remembering things that haven't even happened yet!!!" The man is a genius and everyone had a great time. Please come back soon Lewis, we don't like waiting two years between shows. ... Read more
