Famous as the musical with choreography so tricky that it's never been revived since its original 1978 run, Bob Fosse's Dancin' is being revived! Choreographed and directed by original cast member, Tony-winning Wayne Cilento, Dancin is finally back Broadway! Boasting an eclectic score made up of myriad genres from Mozart to Neil Diamond, Cilento promises a relevant update, expanding the piece in tribute to Fosse and his far-reaching legacy.
Originally conceived as a response to the success of dance-heavy A Chrous Line, Dancin' was a revue that showcased Fosse's broad approach to dance and imbued with his trademark emotion, heart and humor. With styles crisscrossing through many genres, including classical, pop, jazz, marches, and more. While it is true that it has never successfully been revived until now, that does not dim it's legendary influence. Catch what is sure to be a must-see as it lights up the Great White Way once again!

Best dancers on the planet do Dancin' proud
After seeing the show six times at the Old Globe in San Diego, I made it a point to be in NYC to celebrate the first preview performance at the Music Box Theater, and was filled with the same joy and affirmation of performing greatness. Dancin' is a triumph, and not likely to be replicated any time soon. It is a must see production that will dazzle and entertain. DANCIN LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN DANCIN!
I was fortunate enough to see this show 8 times. So to say I am obsessed is an understatement. The dancers chosen for the show are incredibly talented in all facets of their arts, singing, dancing, and acting. I would say the best in their business. You will be at the edge of your seat the entire show. It is high energy, funny, with some serious portions as well. It is awesome to see Bob Fosse's legacy of dance continue to light the industry! While watching the show you can just feel the joy these performers are feeling as they are performing for their audience!
Besides these artists being top notch in their trade they are also humble, kind, caring individuals that are so grateful to have the opportunity to do what they do and have some normalcy back in their career and life!
