Why see Kristin Chenoweth?

Broadway Icon Kristin Chenoweth Performs Her Latest Album

Tour de force performer Kristin Chenoweth has long reigned over the Great White Way as one of the theatre scene's most prolific leading ladies. Part of the very fabric of contemporary Broadway, Chenoweth made her debut in the 1997 production of Kander and Ebb's Steel Pier and a mere two years later starred in her breakthrough role, originating Glinda the Good Witch in Stephen Schwartz's landmark musical smash hit Wicked. In the two decades since, the celebrated entertainment icon turned her talents towards film, TV and voiceover work, earning a Tony, a Grammy, an Emmy and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her considerable efforts.

Don't miss out when the celebrated diva returns to Broadway for a limited eight-performance engagement at the historic Nederlander Theatre this fall. Timed to support the late September release of her seventh solo studio album For The Girls, the concert series sees the songstress take to the stage to pay homage to the passionate women who have influenced her career and music.

Singing her own renditions of classic songbook tunes The Way We Were, When I Fall In Love and The Man That Got Away, as well as original material arranged by Drama Desk Award-winning orchestrater Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Chenoweth and her undeniable charm, astonishing vocals, jaw-dropping technique and inspiring versatility make for a powerhouse show you simply won't want to miss.

Kristin Chenoweth Never disappoints!

KC is a powerhouse, an enigma! She has the voice of an angel while being funny and supportive to everyone on stage. If you have never seen her show it’s a must. She invites you into her life, through music, humor and generosity singing a variety of songs from her albums. This past Saturday she invited Steven Schwartz( wicked, Godspell etc..) to debut a song from his new musical she’s starring in and heading to Broadway next spring”The Queen of Versailles “.It was exciting, beautiful, melodic and meaningful and sung by KC,a seasoned theatre icon. She and her husband Josh Bryant teamed up for a new number that focused on his skillful guitar intro but I’d love to see them do Jim Croce’s “ time in a bottle”.They are magic together.KC changes her show every time I’ve seen her and her music is eclectic and appeals to everyone. She shares the stage with her musicians, acknowledges their accomplishments. She is a musician, comic and wonderful entertainer and I never miss her if she’s in town. ... Read more

What a Night

Having first seen Kristin sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, I was fascinated with her amazing voice and energy. Since then, I have obtained her cd’s and listen to them while driving. My wife and I jumped at the chance to see her in person and we can’t wait to see her again. She is funny, dynamic and what a voice with such amazing range. The love for family, humanity and the joy of using her talents to make people happy is so genuine. ... Read more

I knew Kristen Chenoweth was talented, but I had to hear her live to really understand just how much! That pitch! That range and control!! Absolutely perfect night out, couldn’t ask for much more. Well, except for the brand and style of the heels she was wearing. I need a pair of my own! ... Read more
