Goddess is a tale inspired by the myth of the African goddess Marimba, who is credited with teaching the art of song and creating many musical instruments. Music and lyrics have been provided by multitalented artist Michael Thurber and a book by Tony nominee Jocelyn Bioh. What's It About?

The supernatural occurs when an unknown woman appears in a Kenyan afro-jazz club, and seems to put everyone under a spell with her songs. The lives of many are set to be uprooted and changed by her sudden arrival and mystical presence.
