Why see Hells Kitchen?

The Diary of Alicia Keys? Almost!

This all new inspirational musical, Hell's Kitchen, is coming to the Newman Theater this fall. Created by playwright and Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz and scored by Alicia Keys. Largely drawn from the award-winning artist's own story, the Hells Kitchen is based on her own life growing up in the Bronx.

With choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A Brown and directed by fellow Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, this Hells Kitchen is an essential addition to your fall calendar!

What's it about?

Seventeen-year-old Ali dreams of a life beyond the humdrum she has now. A chance meeting and unheralded friendships stoke the aspirational fire in her heart and set her on a path to greatness.
