Kendrick Headlines Hot 97 FM's Summer Festival

A veritable who's who of hip hop and R&B artists tearing up the charts right now, Summer Jam's 2018 lineup is hotter than a New York City pavement in the middle of July. The home of hip hop in NYC, Hot 97 FM welcomes recent Pulitzer Music Prize winner Kendrick Lamar, Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Wayne, producer/DJ Swizz Beats and tour de force rapper Remy Ma amongst others to the Stadium Stage for their sizzling Summer festival, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year!

2018 also marks a momentous era for 12-time Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar, whose fourth studio album DAMN. has recently become his third to sell over one million copies and garnered the first ever Pulitzer Prize awarded to a rapper. Complex, political, personal and intelligent, DAMN. reaches beyond the glitz and glamour of the hip hop lifestyle to form a much needed cultural commentary, bolstered by technically virtuosic rhyming skills, avant-garde poetry and trap-infused, heavy beats.
