Why see Urinetown?
You're In Town Tonight
This February an exciting new production of Tony Award-winning musical Urinetown is being brought to you by the City Center Encores! series. This iteration of the award-winning satirical comedy will be directed by Teddy Burgman, and will star Jordan Fisher, who you may know from Hadestown, Hamilton or Dear Evan Hansen, Les Miserable's Keala Settle, and more. Don't miss out on the splash hit!
A downtrodden and oppressed society is bursting for release as their needs are held hostage by the selfish ruling class and the Urine Good Company. Those who rebel or are unable to pay are carted off to Urinetown, never to be seen again. Growing sick of the state of their lives, a group forms with the sole intent of tearing down those who flush their rights down the drain.
