Legally Blonde

Legally Blonde at Palace Theater

Why see Legally Blonde?

She's ditzy, she superficial, but most of all, she's a blonde - one whose incredible lightness of being blinds others to her true brilliance.

Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

LEGALLY BLONDE The Musical has been created by a dean's list of top-of-their-class Broadway talent, including Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Jerry (Hairspray) Mitchell; composer and lyricist Laurence (Batboy) O'Keefe and Nell (Sarah, Plain and Tall) Benjamin; book writer Heather (Freaky Friday) Hach; and scenic designer David (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) Rockwell. LEGALLY BLONDE The Musical will take you from the sorority house to the halls of justice with Broadway's brightest new heroine (and of course, her chihuahua, Bruiser).

The verdict? This much fun shouldn't be legal!

awesome!!

I didn't see the show in person but it looks fantastic. I saw the taping on MTV. I have a whole bunch of songs from the show on my I-POD. My favorite songs are Omigod You Guys, So much better, there right there, legally blonde remix, and the finale, I hope to get tickets when the same cast as the MTV version is performing. I want to see it soooooooooooo badly! ... Read more

"So Much Better" Than I Expected

Wow, Legally Blonde. Not exactly the first movie I'd expect to be adapted for Broadway, but boy was I suprised. I thought this was a really great musical. Awesome sets, score/songs, acting, even the book. Laura Bell Bundy was a powerful lead and Orfeh is a shoe-in for the Best Featured Musical Actress Tony of 2007. Amazing show overall and my only quip is probably the need to eliminate Callahan's song, which I didn't love. ... Read more
