Why see The Lost Boys?
There's Only One Thing In Santa Carla You Can't Stomach
The days might be getting longer, but the darkness draws in as The Lost Boys fly to Broadway in Spring 2026. A musical adaptation of the 1987 cult vampire movie, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Arden (Parade, Spring Awakening) is headed to the Palace Theatre for its world premiere. Music is provided by rock band The Rescues, and a book written by Chris Hoch and David Hornsby. Dust off your leather jackets and prepare yourselves to enter the murder capital of the world!
Fun fact - Keifer Sutherland broke his right hand during a stunt while filming the movie, meaning he had to wear gloves for the rest of the shoot to cover up the cast, and the team had to modify his motorcycle so it could be operated with one hand.
What's It About?
Teenager Michael Emerson recently relocated to Santa Carla, California with his mother and brother, and are soon informed by their Grandfather that the town is more dangerous than they would care to admit. A beautiful girl and motorcycle race later and Michael has found new friends, but something sinister lurks beneath the surface.
