The band themselves may have hung up their instruments back in xx, but their music lives on in this exciting tribute concert, taking to the road this year! All stemming from a 1996 recording in Havana with the iconic producer Ry Cooder, the 13-man group went on to conquer the world with their infectious easy rhythms and consummate musicianship.

The Grammy Award-winning Buena Vista Social Club were a surprising success. The 90's recording of the same name sparked a fervent interest in Cuban and Latin American music that spread like wildfire throughout the world. Transcending trends and fads, the band's timeless sound evokes and celebrates the golden age of Cuban music with infectious melodies, clave rhythms and a tremendous amount of authentic joy in the music they make.
